George Phylactou 

George Phylactou was born in Paralimni, Cyprus in 1982. He graduated from Paralimni Lyceum with excellence. He served the Cyprus Army in the Rangers Force for 2 years. He gained a first degree in Literature from the University of York, UK. He also possesses: TEFL, MA Education Management – King’s College, University of London, an MBA from the University of Cyprus and a PhD. 

He is currently the Director of Xenion Education and the Vice-President of the American University of Cyprus. He is also Director at X. Chronos Investments.

He is member of the board of the Famagusta Chamber; Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Private Schools Association of Cyprus; and Founder and Chairman of ELSAC - English Language Schools Association of Cyprus. In the past he served as a Vice President of TEVEA, member of the board of the Cyprus Private Institutes Association, President of the Famagusta Rangers Association. He was also a member of the board of ENP FC and President of ENP Futsal Club.

He is married to Sophia Tsantila, and they have 3 sons.
